If you frequently take your 2007-2011 JK Wrangler off-road, you’ve got to protect its undercarriage from costly damages. This Set of ARB Skid Plates (5450100) are made from premium-quality steel and are zinc plated to protect your Jeep’s underbody on even the roughest trails.

These skid plate panels are developed with extensive field testing to ensure protection of your JK’s vital underbody components. These panels remove easily for servicing and where practical, include access to oil pan drain plugs. Each skid plate panel has recessed mounting bolts in vulnerable areas to guarantee an easy removal even if the panels are damaged from harsh off road use. Being the longest skid plate panel manufactured so far, ARB designed this panel to practically cradle the entire engine oil pan on all sides, which will provide the maximum amount of protection while still giving access to the engine oil drain plug. Near the rear of the panel, the surface area is as narrow as possible for the fitment of aftermarket long arm kits. A new cross member has been developed that bolts between the two engine mounts to support these panels. ARB has carefully designed this set of skid plates to allow your JK’s front suspension control arms to travel up fully (under suspension compression) in an area that was very compact and didn’t allow a lot of freedom in design. Along with engine oil pan and transmission protection the JK Wrangler also has a vulnerable charcoal canister, which is part of the vehicle emissions system, which hangs low towards the rear of your Jeep. ARB has developed a separate skid plate for this specific area. This set includes an engine, transmission, transfer case skid plates and an EVAP canister skid plate.
*Inspect panels visually on a regular basis. Dirt and foreign matter should be washed out to minimize build-up around hot components. Be very careful when removing foreign matter with hands while vehicle is hot or running.
Please Note: This Set of Skid Plates will not fit 2012-2018 Jeep JK Wranglers with the 3.6 liter engine.
