① interrupt the connector of this unit to the sensor connector of the accelerator pedal. 
② Remove the plastic cover behind the steering wheel and let the cruise signal connector interrupt the connector of this unit. 
③ Fix the main unit to an appropriate place. I attached it to the back of the plastic cover at the top of the driver's left foot with Velcro. This is because Velcro does not sacrifice maintainability. 
④ Set the desired operation mode with the DIP switch on the main unit. 
Impressions after use: There are 3 modes that can be selected with the DIP switch of this instrument. 
1. STANBY Mode: Select whether to enable Jimny cruise control. When turned on, the cruise control function is enabled when the engine is started. I don't use Kurukon in the town, and I don't use it unless I'm on the expressway to some extent, so there is almost no benefit to turning it on. It may be useful depending on road conditions. 
2. RECOVERY MODE: When Kurukon is set, the Jimny runs at a constant speed, but it is released when the brakes are stepped on. If this unit is not attached, it is necessary to press the auto cruise set button again in order to run at constant speed again, but if this mode is turned on, the accelerator pedal pressing condition (15% to 25%) Detects it and returns to constant speed driving at the time of cancellation. This seems convenient for the time being, so I set it on. However, the speed increased to return to constant speed driving just by stepping on the pedal a little, and I felt that it was dangerous if the distance between vehicles at that time was not enough. It is important to choose the usage scene and method, and to “get used to” the operating characteristics of this unit. 
3. HIGHWAY MODE: If you turn this on, if you step on the accelerator more strongly during cruise driving (25% to 50%), my feeling is that it will increase the speed of 5Km to 10Km cruise driving You can do that. The curve of the speed increase at that time was steep, and the engine was short, but it growls as if the accelerator was stepped on considerably, so it is not good for mental health. 
There seems to be a function to adjust the stepping condition of the accelerator where this mode works, but there seems to be no function to adjust the rise curve of engine speed, so I decided not to use it. The point is that I prefer relaxed acceleration. 
There are no plans to remove it for the time being, but in the end, only the recovery mode is used out of the three modes, so it is “subtle” as an evaluation at the moment.
